DETAILED ITINERARY

• Day 1 : Drive From Dehradun To Uttarkashi Barsu Camp In A Shared Taxi

  Altitude - 7545ft.
  Distance - 181.4 kms
  Time Taken - 6-7 hours
  Dehradun to barsu camp on your journey at dawn with a meal and a day-long drive fromDehradun to Barsu covering 181.4kms kms. The route trails through the scenic towns of Mussoorie, Almas village, Chinyali saur, Dharasu, uttarakashi and Uttarkashi beside the Bhagirathi River. Barsu is a small village about 32 kms from Uttarkashi and is on the way to Gangothri. On arriving Barsu that stands tall at 7,545 ft, settle down for the evening in a camp site at Barsu.

• Day 2 : Trek From Barsu To Barnala Tal

  Altitude - 2800mt/8530ft
  Distance - 8-9kms
  Time Taken - 5-6 hours
  Overnight stay in tents Morning time to Breakfast at barsu camp and move ahead With Pack Lunch Barsu road head start trek point, This 9 kms long trek is a gradual ascend landscaped beautifully with Rhododendrons, Silver Oak and Deodar forests. Reach the destination for the day which is Barnala at an elevation of 8,530 ft. It is this place which marks the beginning of the famed undulating stretches of green prairies or ‘Bugyals’. Set up your campsite at this ideal location and retire here for the night. on arrival after short break star your trek for Barnala Tal 02 or 03 hrs, the trail gradually steep up passing green rich forest , panoramic view of Gangotri Himalayan range. . Overnight to Barnala camp at tent !!

• Day 3 : Dayara Bugyal To Bakaria Top and Back To Dayara Bugyal

  Altitude - (12000 ft)
  Distance - 3kms.
  Time take taken - 2-3 hours
  Breakfast at the camp the start trek for Dayara 03/04 kms steep up climbing passing beautiful alpine meadows local name Bugiyal 02 hrs on arrival check camp. This day entails an ascending trek of about 5 kms to the high alpine meadow of Dayara Bugyal, Uttarakhand that is elevated at 9,980 ft through the Barnal grasslands. On arriving this vast meadow that resembles a table top, you can catch sight of some majestic peaks, namely Srikanth, Rudregaira, Gangotri I, II & III, Jaonli, Draupadi ka Danda I & II, Black peak, Bandarpunch and such. Spend the night in the camp set up here.Hot lunch at the camp Dayara. After Lunch Visit The Beautiful alpine pleatu Dayara famous place ski adventure sports, and Height gain of Bakriya pass From Pass You can see The Both side View Of Beautiful Himalayan range of Gangotri and Yamunotri Himalayan range, Dinner & Over night at the camp.Dayara at tent.

• Day 4 : Dayara Bugyal To Pichikiya

  Altitude - (7873 ft)
  Distance - 8kms.
  Time Taken - 6-7 hours.
  We begin our descent to Pichikiya. The trail takes around 6 to 7 hrs with a few ascends in between. We walk through the vast stretches of the alpine meadows and the sub alpine forests and small spiralling rivulets. Pichkiya campsite is a small grassland situated in between the alpine forests. The inner dry valleys, dwarf rhododendrons grow along with patches of grasslands near the campsite.

• Day 5 : Pichikiya To Barsu

  Altitude - (7873 ft)
  Distance - 4kms.
  Time Taken - 3-4 hours
  We descend down to Barsu along a well marked trail through the thick forests. The village of Barsu and the adjoining settlements can be sighted half way down the trail. We reach Barsu by afternoon and camp for the night.

• Day 6 : Barsu to Dehradun

  We drive back to Dehradun to board the night train out to New Delhi.

PAYMENT POLICY

46 days or more before date of departure: 25% of total cost.
31- 45 days before date of departure: 50% of total cost.
30 days before date of departure: 100% of total cost.
Important: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received less than 30 days before date of departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For the cancellation of trek services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons, we must be notified of the same in writing

*CANCELLATION CHARGES PER PERSON

30 days or more before the departure date: 25% of the total cost.
29 - 20 days before the departure date: 50% of total cost.
Less than 20 days before the departure day: 100% of the total cost.
Cancellation less than 10 days to the start of the trek: Transfer your trek (same trek, same batch) to your friend. No cash refund.

*IF WE CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY

We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements. Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel you travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you. If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond control ( e.g. bad weather, insufficient bookings) we shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour has'nt already commenced. If the alternate arrangement does not suit you, we will refund the amount in full.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Change of trek batch is dependent on the availability of seats in the batch.
In case of transferring a trek to a friend, he/ she should satisfy all the mandatory requirements put forward by UTT.
UTT holds the right to change/cancel the policies, without prior notice.

If a trip must be delayed or the itinerary changed due to bad weather, road conditions, transportation delays, government intervention, airline schedules, sickness, or other contingency for which UTT or its agents cannot make provision, the cost of delays and/or other changes are the responsibility of the participant. UTT reserves the right to decline, or accept, any individual as a trip member for any reason whatsoever.

Any cancellation sent on a Sunday or any National Holiday(s), will be considered on the next official working day. *In the event of any cancellation(s) after trip commencement, there will be no refunds and any costs incurred due to this cancellation will be borne by you. Irrespective of when a trip is booked, the above condition will hold true.

HOW TO REACH

Jolly Grant Airport is the airport serving Dehradun, located about 48 km from the Haridwar. There is a daily flight from Delhi for Dehradun.

From Mumbai- Dehradun Express (19019)
From Chennai- Dehardun express (12687)

By road, Haridwar is well connected with major destinations of the country.
NH72 connects Haridwar to Nahan (125 km) to the north-west, and thereon to Panchkula, Chandi-garh and Shimla.
NH 72 terminates at Dehardun, which is at 54km from Haridwar.
Haridwar is located at a distance of 235 km from Delhi.
NH72A links Haridwar to NH58 at Roorkee (35 km) and thereon south to Meerut (170 km) and Delhi (235 km).
There is regular bus service from Delhi for Haridwar from Delhi's ISBT Kashmere Gate

GUIDELINES

Alcohols or any other intoxicating products "STRICTLY PROHIBHITED" during the trek.
Always pay heed to the trek guides or instructors.
Try not to leave the group under any circumstances.
Avoid trekking during the nights as it is extremely dangerous.
Avoid using earphones as that might hinder your hearing.
Do not participate or encourage littering of the places in any form.
While visiting the local villages and tourist sites, obey the local guidelines and instructions.
Do not harm or interrupt the local sentiments of the places.

Your safety is of paramount concern while travelling with UTTARAKHAND TOUR TRAVELS. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Since adventure entails travelling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required
